It is National Stop the Bleed Month and as a follow up to the sessions hosted in partnership with UC Health and UofL Hospital, we owe you a list of affordable supplies for building your own kits!
This list of supplies comes highly recommended by medical professionals, both for efficacy and cost. These supplies yielded 6 kits at approximately $25/kit. Each kit should include one tourniquet, a pair of medical gloves, a compression bandage, medical scissors, a good amount of gauze, and a sharpie.
