Whitney/Strong’s mission is to realize fewer lives impacted by gun violence by advocating and executing responsible gun ownership. 

The Save a Life Series is an opportunity for people to learn basic safety skills such as safe storage, gun handling techniques, and Stop the Bleed. These practices are proven to reduce the deadly impact of gun violence by preventing accidental death and injury, suicide, and violent crime.  Stop the Bleed training helped save Whitney’s life, through the immediate application of a tourniquet once rescued, and sharing these life-saving techniques is just one of our many passions.

In partnership with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Whitney/Strong will offer Save a Life once each quarter throughout 2020. Locations must be located in Louisville communities that are disproportionately impacted by gun violence.
